LiveSTRONG-

I am proud to be involoved in the LiveSTRONG ride series. Last year I rode a century ( 100 miles) for the first time. It was an awesome experience to train, raise money and complete an ambitious physical goal. This year 2006, I will be riding in Philly, Pa in another Century. This time with some more agressive goals. I have started a team and our team goal is to raise $20, 000.00 for cancer survivors. ( People who not only survive, but live and thrive despite their disease. )

I hope you will join me in my efforts. You can join the team and help in many ways from walking running or riding in the event, raising funds, or simply donating a few dollars. Whatever you decide, I am sure it will make you feel good to be a part of.

Here is how you can help:

Rise to the Challenge

Ride (10, 40, 70 or 100 miles): Participate in the LAF’s signature cycling event inspired by Lance Armstrong ($50 registration fee and a $500 fundraising minimum).

Run (5K/10K): Push to a new personal best ($50 registration fee and a $50 fundraising minimum).

Walk (5K): Join people of all ages and capabilities ($50 registration fee and a $50 fundraising minimum).
